Founder, Janklin Consulting | Facilitator & Cultural Speaker
Andrea McCoy is a people champion, facilitator and self-described quirky lady with unquenchable curiosity. She believes project management without culture's spice is a snore. As the founder of Janklin Consulting, she helps leaders and project teams become more relational and culturally intelligent, and build teams where belonging drives results.
Andrea holds a Master of Arts in International and Intercultural Communication, a Master's Certificate in Project Management, and her PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute. She brings together two worlds that rarely meet: the structure of project delivery and the rich, messy, joyful reality of the people doing the work. She has worked across communications strategy, project management, content development and facilitation, including in international non-profit settings where she learned first-hand how culture shapes leadership, authority and trust.
Raised in a traditional, military family, Andrea has spent years unpacking her own invisible briefcase of inherited beliefs. She now invites others to do the same, not with shame, but with curiosity, humility and joy. Through her Joy-Filled Leadership Labs and keynotes, she helps leaders see themselves fully so they can truly see the people they lead.
Andrea lives and works as a grateful guest on the unceded territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) People, the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.
