Joe Fernandes

Toronto, ON -
I am passionate about working with people and helping organizations realize benefits through the work of their people. I believe in the value of good practices in project management and want to help, guide and coach people to meet organizational strategies and goals. I have been managing People, Process and Technology projects in the public and private sector for over 20 years. I am currently teaching project management courses at a private college and am enjoying helping students learn from my experiences and acumen. What has helped me with all the above was obtaining the PMP years ago and the CSM more recently. Getting a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a certificate in adult education before that has definitely enabled me to successfully complete projects, enable teamwork, gain client satisfaction and benefits realization for organizations. I have also enjoyed volunteering for project management and change management organizations and have served on the Board of Directors for the PMI TORONTO Chapter and the ACMP Toronto Chapter.
