First of all, there are many ways to run a PDD: virtual, in-person, one speaker, many speakers, multiple tracks, one plenary session, keynotes, and the list of options you need to consider goes on.

Then we get to pricing… how much should you charge? And then technology, timing, volunteers and speaker selection.

David Barrett is a professional speaker, author, education advisor and the founder of ProjectBites.com.  He has been a member of the PMI since 1995 and has worked with over 100 different chapters as a keynote speaker, monthly event speaker, workshop host and now as the principal of ProjectBites.

His background, connections and experience make him a great candidate to lead us in this discussion. He launched ProjectWorld in 1998 and ran project management conferences around the world for over 15 years. He also spent the 5 years prior to covid as a keynote speaker for PMI events- working with over 90 different chapters over that time.
