Saleh Mubarak, a construction management authority; a professor, author, public speaker, and consultant. He holds a PhD degree in civil engineering, specialized in construction project management. His 33+ years of diversified experience spans academia and the engineering / construction industry. His academic experience includes teaching positions as a professor, head of the civil engineering department, and conducting research and scholarly work. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida (USF). His industrial experience cover both the private and public sectors, in the U.S. and international. Positions occupied include project engineer / manager, cost estimator / manager, scheduler, project controls manager, training manager, and consultant.
He has extensive experience in continuing education, professional training, and seminars around the world. He conducted hundreds of training sessions many countries across the world on technical and other topics such as construction planning / scheduling, project controls, project management, cost estimating, and soft skills. Many of these presentations were conducted under professional organizations such as PMI and AACE International. Dr. Mubarak was a member of the PMI committee that wrote the first PMI SP (scheduling professional) certification in 2007.
He is the author of three books:

Dr. Mubarak is an authority on project planning and scheduling, project controls, and project management. He is also an advocate of holistic healthy living and “life management and balance.”
