Project work is fast paced, action oriented, at times exciting and others bitterly disappointing. There is a rollercoaster of emotions that come with a life dedicated to the pursuit of project execution. So how in today’s modern day of work do we create a culture of project execution that is both rewarding and safe for our people? Alicia will share her experiences with create project execution cultures in two very different environments, telecommunications and banking.

Head of Investment Management & Delivery at ANZ
The Investment Management and Delivery Office is responsible for managing the strategic planning, prioritisation, allocation and ongoing management of ANZ’s investments.
Prior to her role at ANZ Alicia held the position of Chief Project Officer for Telstra, where she led the organisation's journey to establish project management as a stand- alone capability separate from IT, business and engineering skills.
Alicia spent several years as CEO, Human Systems International acquired by the Project Management Institute. Her experience ranges through several industries including Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Defence & Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Engineering & Construction, Mining, Oil & Gas and Government.
Alicia is the chairperson for the International Centre for Complex Project Management (ICCPM) and an Advisory Board member for the Office of Projects Victoria. She holds a PhD in project management and psychology with a particular focus on how project managers cope with stress and a Bachelor of Business.
