Leading Projects with Psychological Safety in Mind explores why so many projects fail—not through a lack of competent project planning, but because people don’t feel safe to speak up. Drawing on neuroscience, research by Google and real-world case studies, this session highlights the critical role of psychological safety in project success. Participants will discover the conditions required to establish psychological safety to build high performing project teams that innovate faster, solve problems earlier, and sustain performance – whilst improving return on investment. We do a deep dive into the THRIVE framework—Trust, Humility, Respect, Inclusion, Vulnerability, and Empathy to guide attendees with actionable steps to build safer, stronger projects.
